On 8, 9 and 10 June 2021, the II Congress of the IEDF - Brazilian Institute of Education for Rights and Fraternity - and the VII Seminar of the Communion and Law Group of Central-West Brazil transpired. They addressed Brazilian Justice on the themes of "Technology, Education and Fraternity"..

The event took place online, with several sessions. Participants were professionals from the legal and academic world. There was the launching of two e-books for the occasion. It was coordinated by Dr Reynaldo da Fonseca, Supreme Court Judge, by professor Josiane Veronese and by Dr Rafaela Silva Brito, with interventions by over sixty authors, including senior judges and professors.

The congress' organizers invited participants to engage in a basket collection of necessities, which they delivered to institutions that support vulnerable families in the Federal District.

At the event, scholars, teachers, magistrates, members of the Public Prosecutor, Lawyers, Public Defenders, and other legal actors presented concrete experiences and proposals on how to live fraternity in the justice system and the educational system and on the importance of educating rights in schools.

The II Congress of the IEDF and VII Seminar of the Communion and Law Group of the centre-west concluded with many reasons to celebrate. The publication of the collective work in e-book version; fundraising for the printing of 250 copies of the two volumes presented; donations of baskets with necessities.

The event showed intense activity on the IEDF pages of its social networks.

In numbers: 368 people registered; - 800 accesses to our YouTube channel during the three days; - 244 people subscribed to the YouTube channel; - 118 baskets with necessities collected for an amount of R $ 3,442.10 (550 euros); - R $ 14,535.00 (2,325 euros) raised for the printing of the books.
